Croatia continues to see a downward trend in coronavirus numbers. New cases are dropping, as are hospitalizations, deaths, self-isolation numbers and the number of patients on ventilators.
According to the national Civil Protection Directorate, 280 new positive coronavirus test results have been registered over the past 24 hours, on the basis of 6 049 tests conducted in that period. This puts Croatia's test positivity rate over the past 24 hours at 4.6 percent. Fourteen coronavirus-related deaths have been reported since yesterday, while 312 people have been given a clean bill of health.
Currently there are 1 945 people with active positive test results in Croatia, of which 653 are receiving treatment in hospital. 66 patients are on ventilators. 9 603 people are in self-isolation.
Since the beginning of the outbreak in Croatia, on February 25th of last year, 357 109 positive test results have been registered, of which 347 108 people have since been given a clean bill of health. A total of 8 056 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported. Croatia has conducted a total of 2 032 200 tests.
As of yesterday Croatian health sector workers have administered 1 847 314 doses of the coronavirus vaccine, of which 1 312 272 people have received one dose, while 535 042 have received both doses. 43 757 doses of the vaccine were administered yesterday alone.
