Even today, citizens flocked to get their 25 kuna coin with the Pelješac Bridge motif. There was a long line in front of the Croatian National Bank in Zagreb this morning, and everyone can buy up to 50 coins. A total of 30,000 coins were minted, 8,000 were sold yesterday at the Croatian National Bank and 500 via the Internet.

"It is the last kuna coin to be produced in Croatia, so that it will be a souvenir," say the majority of citizens waiting in line. They buy coins for themselves, but also as gifts for others.


“I'm collecting it in albums and then I'll probably show them to all my children, then that's how it goes,” said little Luka.
