99.65% of Croatians are coronavirus free

According to the National Civil Protection Directorate 1 427 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Croatia over the past 24 hours, on the basis of more than seven thousand tests.

Currently there are 14 079 active coronavirus cases in the country, of which 1 191 are receiving treatment in hospital. 112 patients are on respirators. 34 coronavirus-related deaths have also been reported, while 2 048 people have achieved a full recovery.

Since the beginning of the outbreak on February 25th, 54 087 cases have been recorded, of which 39 380 have achieved a full recovery. 628 deaths have been reported, albeit, almost all have been elderly people with serious underlying health conditions.

More than 514 000 people have been tested, while currently 26 888 people have been put into self-isolation.
