70 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Croatia. 181 patients are being treated in hospitals and 11 are on respirators. Three more people have died. Vaccination continues. From July 1st, it will be possible to organize concerts without limiting the number of people, the need to wear masks or to maintain distance - but only for those who have been vaccinated.

Vaccination continues and in Zagreb from this week, people can get vaccinated without an appointment in several places. Meanwhile, at the Zagreb Fair, vaccination by appointment is still being conducted. Croatia has not achieved its goal of vaccinating fifty percent of adults by the end of June.

The European Football Championship gathered a large number of fans in city squares, and thousands went to support the Croatian team in Copenhagen. Will fans be tested after returning to the country?

“As far as I know for now they won't be tested because our citizens have a digital certificate to return to the country. Surely we must be careful, we cannot relax, we have good numbers but those good numbers can very easily become poor numbers,” said the Deputy Director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Ivana Pavić Šimetin.

Zadar County had the biggest number of newly infected today at 32, and most from were from the city of Zadar.

“What can happen is that we are placed on the map of certain European countries as a red zone and that would have repercussions on our tourist season, which nobody would like,” said Zadar Chief Epidemiologist Alan Medić.

From July 1st, the digital Covid certificate will be a ticket to open entertainment, cultural and sports events without restrictions. Concerts will also be able to be organized without masks and keeping distance, but only for those vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, over 8,200 people have died in Croatia as a result of the coronavirus.
