There were 184 new cases of coronavirus infection in Croatia today. As the number of those infected continues to drop, so does the number of people in the hospital. Hospital capacities for Covid-19 patients are gradually being reduced.

This is also the case at the Dubrava Clinical Hospital, which is returning to its usual work, and today tents set up in front of the hospital by the Croatian Army were removed.

“For that reason I thank minister Banožić and all members of the Croatian Army for their logistics support and assistance to the healthcare system during this epidemic,” said Minister of Health Vili Beroš.

Beroš also announced the work of mobile vaccination teams, especially in smaller places.

“Mobile teams for vaccination will, according to a previously agreed upon schedule, tour through counties and remain for a certain period in smaller places. Such an approach is oriented towards rural areas, and the idea is to go out to inhabitants of smaller villages, distant from healthcare institutions, and come to their doorstep,” said Beroš.

Existing epidemiological measures are planned to be extended until July 1st.

The head of the National Civil Protection Headquarters Davor Božinović recalled that this is the date when the decree on digital Covid certificates goes into effect in all member states of the European Union.
